It is the mission of Dot Spaet and Fitness by Dot to inspire, motivate and empower people to embrace fitness as part of their lives. Specializing in Back Care, I utilize creative methods that may include Yoga, Yogatherapy, Pilates and Strength Training.

dotI DON’T LIKE EXERCISE
I gave him something that felt more like ‘fun’ than ‘exercise.’ Walking and bicycling felt too much like exercise for him to stick with, but dancing makes him light up. We dance for an effective cardio workout that he looks forward to and that has helped him increase his stamina and shed weight.

dot I WANT TO BE TONED BUT DON’T LIKE FREE WEIGHTS
I put together a complete lower and upper body workout using a combination of stretchy elastic bands and tubes. She’s happy with
the effective resistance-training routine and has the muscle tone to prove it.

dot I DON’T LIKE GYM EQUIPMENT
Another female client wanted to tone up, but didn’t want to use any apparatus at all. She enjoys yoga, so I devised a workout that uses her body as resistance – such as doing pushups – all incorporated into a yoga routine. She has toned up while stretching her muscles and gaining flexibility.


I tap that creative spirit in my approach to fitness. I use my background in weight-training, yoga and Pilates to design a customized fitness program with you. With me, you’re not limited to a one-size-fits-all approach to fitness. People don’t come in one size – effective workouts don’t either. I believe the best workout is the one you’ll stick with, and that’s different for each person.

I take the time to get to know you, your health and fitness background as well as your likes and dislikes when it comes to exercise. I work with you to design a program that not only gets you the results you’re after, but also a program that you enjoy and even look forward to.
